To engage the participants in meaningful session for the exploration on scientific advancements, the conference includes several parallel sessions. Each session contains about 10 presentations, speakers or participants need to adhere to the following instructions and guidelines.

1. Time Allocation

Notes:
a. Each presentation includes 3- 5 minutes for question and discussion.
b. All presenters are requested to reach the session room prior to the schedule time.
c. Presenters should rehearse their presentations in advance to make sure they complete the presentation during the timeslot. A reminder will be given by the session chair when 3 minutes were left.
d. No commercial advertisements are allowed during the presentation.

2. Presentation Preparation
1) Laptops equipped with Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 Pro English (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and Adobe Reader;
2) LCD projectors, Screens, Laser pointers and Microphones;
3) The presentation PowerPoint or PDF should be formatted with figures and tables, plain text is inappropriated;
4) Speakers should have their presentation data ready in a memory stick and copy it to the laptop in the session room about 15 minutes before the start time;
    Please also upload the final version of the PPT files via the Online Submission System at least 2 weeks before the conference dates;
5) All speakers should inform the Session Chair (before the start of your Session) that you are ready to present.

3. Speaker Standards
Speakers Attire: Speakers are strongly encouraged to dress in business formals during presentations. Speakers should be well knowledgeable and expert in the area of presentation to meet the audience. All communications should be in English, and no other language is acceptable.
Presentation Skills: Presentation would definitely be a topic of importance during conference session. Speakers should rehearse well in advance for the successful presentation with time management.
No commercial Advertisement: No commercial advertisements are allowed during the session.

4. Best Oral Presentation Selection
1) For each session, one to three Best Oral Presentations will be recognized. The first-place winner will receive a certificate and waiver of the registration fee for the next ICBEB, regardless of their affiliation or position. The second and third-place winners are exclusively reserved for student presenters, who will be honored only with a certificate of merit.
2) Please ensure that your Paper ID (BEB****) is accurately displayed both on the first and the last page of your presentation file.

Selection Procedure
♦ An assessment sheet will be delivered to listeners before the session starts.
♦ When the session finishes, each listener is required to fill the sheet (he/she can vote for two excellent presentations) and give it to the Session Chair.
♦ The Session Chair will count the votes and select one best oral presentation with more votes. If there is a tie, the Session Chair will make the final decision.

5. Abstract Submission
An abstract with at least 200 words is necessary, please format it according to the "Abstract Template" and submit it to the ICBEB 2024 Submission System. Please mark "abstract for oral presentation" in the note form or e-mail to icbeb@icbeb.org / icbeb@academicconf.com for confirmation.

6. Conference Attendance / Cancellation
We strongly encourage speakers to notify the office immediately via icbeb@icbeb.org / icbeb@academicconf.com in the event of absence for presenting a registered session, a best attempt can be made to substitute the session on prior information.
